Born from MotoGP innovation, Tech-Air® 10 is Alpinestars’ most advanced autonomous airbag system. Lightweight and slim, it delivers full upper-body and hip protection for racers, track day riders, and road users. Tech-Air® 10 can be worn under any Alpinestars Tech-Air® Ready or Tech-Air® Compatible leather suits, or any third-party leather suit which needs to have extra 4 cm of space around the circumference of the rider’s chest and 2 cm of room around the circumference of the rider’s hips to be able to accommodate the inflation of the airbag, in the event of a crash.

Motion AI backed by millions of km and thousands of crash scenarios for precise deployment. Swappable, hand-washable base layer connects via side zippers. Total weight: 2.3 kg (size M).
Unmatched coverage: shoulders, chest, full back, and hips. 12 integrated sensors (3 triaxial accelerometers plus 1 triaxial gyroscope) with AI-driven crash detection deploy the airbag in 40ms. Reduces impact force by up to 95%—equivalent to 18 back protectors. Dual argon inflators provide full inflation coverage (no dual charge). CE Level 2 certified for chest and back.
Recharge dock integrated into internal belt for LED display. USB-C magnetic cable and charger included. Airbag certified for three deployments. After each deployment, the system has to be inspected by an authorized Alpinestars Tech-Air® Service Centre which will perform an inflation test on the airbag. If the test is passed, the service will involve only the replacement of the gas inflators. Full service (replacement of the gas inflators and the airbag) required after third deployment or if damage is detected.
